There’s a large bump on my anus and it’s sore. I have never had sex before. Could it be a hemorrhoid?

I’m a man in my early fifties and have had piles or hemorrhoids for the last several years. It’s not a real bad case as with many people but I hate having to use Prep H every time I have a flare up. Usually, I have an occurrence about 6-8 times a year and it’s literally a pain in the rear but the thing that bugs me most is it’s messy. Yuk ! The Doc wants to slice and dice but no way. Anybody got any home remedies or suggestions that work ? If you can freeze off a wart, why not a pile ? Thanks.

Ok this is sooo embarrassing (and please don’t judge) but me and my boyfriend had anal sex a week ago. It was the first time and we both thought we would give it a try. I thought the amount of lube that we used was enough but I guess it wasn’t in the end as it was very painful and it didn’t last long before I had to tell him to stop. A couple days later he said we should try again but use more lube and so we did, but then he said he felt a lump or something on the way out.. I said it was nothing and then went to the bathroom to check and It appeared to be a hemorrhoid. I wasn’t sure at first but now a week later I am almost completely certain I have hemorrhoids and I am freaking out.

I thought only pregnant women got them or older people.. I am only 16. So that is why I am worried. I don’t want to tell my mum because it’s too embarrassing for me, let alone showing a doctor my **** hole. I could never go through with it, what do I do? I have been eating a lot of weetabix and drinking lots of water so I don’t get constipated and make it worse. I put aloe vero gel on them today and it kind of burned but it’s ok now. I shower every day so my hygiene is fine. It is feeling very uncomfortable as It feels like there is a bubble that wont pop and i just want them gone

I am planning to buy some Anosal – i think that’s what it’s called? but It would be so embarrassing to buy it by myself What else can I do to help them shrink back to normal? And by the way I am NEVER doing anal sex again after this !! I really need some re assuring advice thanks so much xx

I’m 13 and a virgin. I have started my periods. But nearly every time I go for a poo and then i wipe… There is a small amount of blood on the toilet paper. And it’s definitely from my bum and not where your periods come out of. I’ve heard of that haemorrhoids. But how do I know it’s that? And I really don’t want to tell my parents or the doctor. Please help, how can I get it to stop? Also it hurts a bit too when I poo…I’ve had constipation before too but that was when I was about 9. I eat lots of chocolate too if that could be a cause..?

the other day when i was about to go to the bathroom i couldn’t poop. i think i tried too hard and ripped something now when i poop it’s really hard and painful. i did some research on the internet and i’m pretty positive i have Hemorrhoid. I was with my partner and he was “trying” to fist me, it didnt work he could only get 3 fingers, but i was enjoying it so much i tenched to anything, and dislocated his finger. But What it is, about a week ago, i felt a pea size lump about 3mm up from my anus, it does not itch, it does not sting or give off blood!
It just feels like skin with a pea lump on the end .. Could this still be hemorrhoid?
And how old should you he before you get it! As im only 18 and embrassed to tell anyone!
Is there anyway of getting rid of it on my own if it is?

This is embarrassing but is it best to see a Gastrointerologist or a Colo-rectal specialist for hemorrhoid issues? Who has the best in office treatment? Or is it about the same?

Male homosexual behavior increases the risk of microorganism infections, hemorrhoids, anal prolapse, leakage, rectal pain, ulcers, anal fissures, anal cancer, and ano-rectal trauma. Although (some) heterosexual partners practice it, they do it much less frequently and so the risk is less.

From a pure evolutionary point of view, one would find the behavior an undesirable trait compared to normal heterosexual intercourse.

So why are so many evolutionists pro-sodomy? This seems logically inconsistent. And why do I read on Yahoo Answers about gay friendly churches? Isn’t our body a “temple of God” and shouldn’t we avoid despoiling it with any unhealthy behavior?
I don’t think the government should make smoking illegal because we live in a society that allows people to make unhealthy choices. But I think we should actively teach and campaign for people (gays especially, since they are doing it more) to refrain from this activity. Although we allow free choice, let’s all agree that this practice is the WRONG choice. We can be “tolerant” of unhealthy behavior while at the same time being truthful about its consequences.
