I found a website about a year ago that had great, uplifting and funny stories shared from people who had anxiety disorders.
I haven’t had any luck finding it lately and was wondering if anyone had knowledge of this site?

kckmellons added these pithy words on Sep 14 08 at 12:45 ami can tell you a funny story. last christmas i was at my friends house and i felt a little funny and my arms were tingly and i started to freak out thinking that i was having a stroke. my friend calls the hospital and they are trying to talk her through my anxiety attack. meanwhile my arms have totally froze up to where it looks like i have claws. my friend doesn’t have a paper sack and gives me a plastic bag. i look at her and ask her if she is trying to finish me off. she hands me the bag and because of the claws i can’t hold it. so then she has to literally put a ativan in my mouth to hopefully calm me down. fortunatly i got through it alive.

I don’t know how you get hooked into it…guess you have to know somebody who knows somebody. I have PTSD and Panic Attacks and Anxiety…but my hands NEVER clawed up. I’m worried about the one whose hands clawed up. Hope she told her dr. about that. Will Rogers has a lot of funny sayings. But I know you want “forwards”…right? If I find one…I’ll let you know. I’ll go lookin’ right now. But don’t count on it. OK…Google “funny stories about anxiety”..there are sites on there about anxiety,ptsd,panic attacks. One is labeled “agoraphobia” (sp)…but it’s also about panic attacks. Have Fun !!
