The New Yorker “misunderestimated” the passion of this election. The cartoon was likely drawn weeks ago, as was the decision to run it. This election has polarized people more than any other in my lifetime and it will only get uglier.

I will only forgive them if they run an equally tasteless “satirical” cartoon on their next issue. Perhaps one of John and Cindy in a jet dropping napalm on his ex wife and civilians in Vietnam, all while waving the American flag out the windows while they are having sex and planning how they will win the White House, whichever party will accept them as “candidates”, in their quest to show the World they are not losers.

Though its nice to be politically correct I’m sick of it, so i think people should publish whatever they want, its our right, that’s why America is the Land of the Free. If you take one right away from us it opens the door for more, if people cant handle the humor don’t look at it.

The New Yorker is a liberal magazine. I knew what you meant.
But what is funnier is the people liking it, that are Republicans.
Go figure.

In actuality it would have been funnier if it were George Bush
and Bin Laden bending over and him kissing his behind.
I can see it now. The Saudi’s flag wrapped around his naked body and Bin laden saying kiss it and thank me for the oil and the death
of Saddam. Now that’s funny. and in line standing outside in the
hallway, all the butt kissers that have resigned, quit, got fired and wanna be’s.

I think Michelle’s face was funny .. that’s what cracked me up.

They didn’t do anything wrong in the cartoon.
1) flag in the fireplace – Obama dropping the flag pin and refusing to salute
2) Wearing Arab clothing – He did wear those for a long time.. we seen pics..thats why he cant tie a tie..lol
3) fist bump – they did that too
4) the picture hanging – he is terrorist friendly
5) the clothing Michelle was wearing – they are all about Malcom. panthers etc.. they had posters hanging in their campaign offices

There was nothing wrong with the cartoon. Obama is just mad cause it pegged him.

And it was funny.

I feel that burning the flag is OK if it has some symbolic meaning… if its denied then its a violation of our rights.
